// About Attesto

Built from a
recurring problem.

Attesto was not born from blockchain hype, AI hype, or a compliance checklist. It was born from a recurring security observation: when everything is normal, people trust logs; when something goes wrong, nobody trusts them anymore.

// The origin

How do we know this is true?

Jerome Levy, security specialist, entrepreneur, and inventor of Attesto, spent twenty years observing the same gap in enterprise security, IAM, PAM, and compliance: organisations could describe what their systems were supposed to do, but could rarely prove what they actually did — independently, after the fact, without asking the same systems to report on themselves. Attesto was designed to close that gap. Not with a logging tool. Not with a dashboard. With an independent cryptographic proof layer that sits above systems and creates evidence they cannot rewrite.

// The vision

Proofability as infrastructure.

The next layer of digital trust is not better promises or stricter policies. It is evidence infrastructure — a layer that makes digital systems independently provable as a default, not an afterthought. Attesto 2.0 is the first commercial step toward that vision. The long-term direction — which we call Proof of Evolution — explores how proofability can extend across entire organisational and technological lifecycles.

Current Attesto product capabilities and the long-term research direction of Proof of Evolution are distinct. Attesto 2.0 describes the available platform today.
